Automatic Tranny Question...Again

is there a replacement plug that i can get that plugs into the TPS on my brothers auto. The TPS is still in good shape, its just the plug that wires in and plugs into the top of the TPS is broken. Any ideas where to get a plug or how to fix it. Thanks....Justin

Look in the sticky for the Potentiometer mod. this will do away with the tps and locate the tps in the truck so you can adjust it to when you want the od to come in.

well its going in my brother's truck and he REALLY doesn't need to be able to control the OD (not very mechanically sound and isn't the most mature when driving the ole girl) so i'm just wanting to replace the actual plug that goes into the TPS. the TPS on his truck is perfect, the plug is just broke

If you can find a good Dodge parts man at a dealer. He could find the plug. Any plug used on a Dodge can be bought as a replacement. The hard part is finding a good parts man that knows where to look for them.

I'm interested to know this too. I did the mod in the sticky a couple of days ago, but it didn't work so I'm trying to figure out why. I didn't have O/D before I did the mod, so I'm going through all the things it could be. That plug is one of those things. I really need to get that damned O/D working, my MPG is killing me!!
