auto transmission shift points

I just installed an isspro tach yesterday.

Is it normal for the transmission to upshift at 2500rpm on an acceleration run? I have the 3200rpm spring installed.

Shouldn't it keep going and shift at max rpm?

Thanks

The gov spring won't change your shift points. It only changes your defueling point. Your valve body determines your shift point. The TV cable plays a role too but only so much control can be had.
