Anyone have crossover steering with 0-2'' lift?
The WJ pitman in my crossover conversion let the TRE sit at the same level as the end of the splined shaft that the pitman arm mounts to on the steering box.
( That has to be the worst explanation ever )
The leaf spring will hit the steering box shaft at the same time as the TRE ( at the pitman arm ) using the WJ pitman arm.
( That wasn't much better )

Completely understand what you are saying. That is exactly what is needed.
I hope mine shows up soon. I have a feeling i will need a different draglink too which will keep me down for another week

I just ordered some DOM and the Poly Performance double adjuster. I will have my front axle rebuilt tonight or tomorrow. Then i will be placing it under the 2WD.
Then i will be starting on my crossover set-up with stock 93 front leaf springs.

So i received the WJ pitman arm today, looks promising!
The price i quoted earlier ($46) INCLUDED a shipping charge of $15 so you that are south of the great white north should be able to get it for pretty cheap.

As you can see the WJ arm is by far the best fit (good job meiser on scoping it out for us). Partsmike removed the master splines and reamed it but i think they reamed it too big! My TRE goes in very far, but for the cost i can order another. I do see some issue with the draglink now though. I am going to weld up the box mounts and get everything solidified and then start mocking up what i need for a draglink.
I'm using Chevy drag link ends because that is what my steering arm needs. I'm going to try a drag link end on the pit man arm side don't know if it will work yet.
I think i'm going to order the WJ pit man arm actually. But if it's to big for a TRE the it will definitely be too big for a DRE.
It does look like they reamed it a little large. They might have been thinking or test fitting another TRE. There are some small differences in taper sizes. I would call them and get some more info. I don't know what TRE NWF used?
That is a more than fair price for sure. I would have gone that way instead of modifying my own.
It was the best fitting arm that I could find by far.
How does your drag link look now? Did you check the center to center distance on your steering arm? If its longer than 6" you might have to trim the front of the crossmember.
I hope people see that there was a method to my madness on using the parts that I did!

Helpful TRE information....

I think Parts Mike did a .791 x .772 taper when you needed a .773 x .664. That would explain why the TRE is sitting so deep.

Yup, they reamed it wrong. I am in the process of getting another from them with the correct taper, only take another week to get here...........but they are giving me a deal.
Atleast i can mock everything else up.

It will work perfect for my drag link ends
I'm in Ontario so shipping won't be to bad.
A crossover steering setup for a 2WD converted to 4WD.
The 2WD crossmember is 3-4 inches closer to the oil pan.

This photo is taken from the steering arm looking towards the stock 2WD pitman arm.

So alittle update. I finally received the proper pitman arm. I finished welding up the drivers side frame/box reinforcement plate.
Its my birthday tomorrow so i doubt i will get much done on the truck, lol.
This weekend i am hoping to have everything tied up and be able to test the draglink.
