i think i finally have my charging problem fixed thanks to some burnt wires going to know in the morning. but now my amp gauge with the key off sits around 10 and when it is running it does not move. i have the cluster out and it all looks good nothing is broke or burnt any one have any thing i should look for

I would take a digital multimeter and check it out.

Should read 12.5V before you start and 14.5V running.
