Advanced timing for WMO

Follow me here, Don't you think it would be a good idea to bump the timing when running WMO. I think this because if adding the oil it increases the flash point of the fuel. Because my truck is currently advanced an 1/8" and it's smoking pretty well. For a while I've been running 9-10 gallons or WMO and the rest diesel for what will fit in the filler neck. Yeah, so smoke has been kinda getting out of hand and I got pulled over Saturday night for a broken tail light that I broke the night before at Kempton's truck pulls by backing into a goose neck trail's neck. So while I was sitting there waiting for the cop to look me up in his computer I saw smoke rolling over the front of my truck in front of my head lights so before he noticed I turned the truck off so he wouldn't notice. TO CLOSE FOR COMFORT![tapdshut] I just got a warning for the light and got new ones the day after, Sunday. ANYWAYS, advancing the timing for WMO, sound like a good idea?

My duece and a half smokes more on diesel then wmo.

Might check ur injector pop pressure. - Atomize the oil a tad better for a better burn

i think more of the problem is the PODS that he is running. they cant even atomize diesel fuel correctly let along WMO

when i ran some wmo i had more black smoke then i wanted and blue smoke when cold.

I have been playing with waste ATF. About 4-5 gallons in my 32 gallon tank. I noticed a bit more haze at Idle, and more white smoke when cold. Less smoke before the boost comes up. The stuff is free to me, however, after I pick it up, filter the Hell out of it, store it, etc. I wonder if it is worth the trouble. Saves me 14.00 a tank currently.

I agree with 77macho, with PODs you almost can't have too much timing. Throw in a fuel pin, aggressive pump tuning and WMO and I'd just shove it to the head and work back if it rattles too much.

WMO = Waste Motor Oil (Basically just used motor oil that is filtered).

Hope this helps.
