93 d250 floors?

hey all, im re doing the floors in the old dodge. bought this truck, i started gutting the interior and when i peeled up the carpet i soon found out the floor pans are toast. rusted through. so i cut the bad spots out, took a grinder to the rest and now im ready to put the new floor pans in. is it best to weld them in or rivet them in and use seam sealer??? thanks

Rivets and sealer are a good way. I personally welded mine, just cuz I bought a new welder!

rivet/sealer will work,

over time i think the sealer will crack due to flex

our floors were gone.. ended up welding a 93 club cab
to the 73 crew cab

I spot welded and used seam sealer on the top and bottom to keep out moisture. I wouldnt worry about the seam sealer cracking as it always stays soft. In fact there is some on the floor pan from the factory along the walls.
