91 owners manual/Cruise control
91 owners manual/Cruise control
Does nayone happen to have one? I hear there is a good section on troubleshooting the cruise control in there. Mine no longer works. The switches and fuse are good, the brake switch is fine. It quit working after some ABS brake work but no idea why. Everything seems to be hooked up OK.
If you have the manual, I would grealty appreciate if someone could scan and e-mail me the pages at carl20320@adelphia.net
Also any ideas on where else to start looking for the problem would be greatly appreciated.

Re:91 owners manual/Cruise control
No I haven't. I'm beginning to think I have a problem in my clockspring in the steering column. The switches test fine when I have them out of the wheel but when I measure at the 60 pin connector, I am missing voltage from one switch.

Carl, you could very well have clockspring problems, mine was broke at one end. It says non-serviceable unit on it. One dealer wanted $132 and another wanted $107. So I took it apart and melted about 1/4" of the coating off the flat wire with soldering iron and then resoldered them back where they went and now cruise works great.
