89-90 cab and front clip value?

I know how much these "whats it worth" threads are a PITA, but this is more of a possible trade for me then something to sell. I have a 76 dodge stepside no motor or trans. Very clean, needs resto, and tailgate. He has an 89-90 cab and front clip from a D250-350 5spd. I want $650 out of my truck he wants to trade me straight up. Is this something that would be a fair trade and could I sell it afterwards? It is very very clean and would be great for my truck, but I need the money more then a solid cab. So if your have an opinion on this please let me know. If given enough notice I could get some pics of my 76 and maybe his cab so you can see what I am looking at.
Thanks,
DS79

Kinda depends on where you live and what is available in your area. I have a total of $400 in this rust free 86 Dodge truck 70,xxx miles that came with the engine i& transmission in the bed. That also included the 4WD frame behind it that still had 80% of the original factory black paint on it along with the front drive shaft, transfer case, & V8360. This was bought as a 4BT project. All I'm saying is gassers without engines are generally cheap compared to the diesel trucks. You have to buy or trade based on what you feel comfortable with.

This was a Cummins truck if that really matters, but I live in the rust belt and both of these trucks (mine and his) came from the south. Good though, would love to keep the 76 and throw a stout 4BT in it for a daily driver.

front clip should be worth 300 if it's complete and if cab is also complete it should be worth about 400. maybe less it's all a supply and demand thing
