I found an IC from a newer 6.0 PS, the guys going to send me a picture and the dimensions this week, he says it has 3" ports, does anybody know if these are similiar to the 7.3L IC's? This thing is brand new and a good price, so I want to snap it up if it will fit..would it be fair to say that the determing factor in a retrofit is ultimately the width of the thing? I've jb welded my old one too many times now.... thanks...

 

7.3 guys upgrade to the 6.0 cuz they are bigger. Quite a bit bigger. We use the 7.3 cuz they flow tons and fit nicely. My 7.3 cooler is as big if not bigger than what I would like to have installed. My grille is notched like no other, bumper is notched, hood release/ support is all kinds of messed up and missing with lots of extra bracing because of the massive cooler. Id see just how much bigger than the 7.3 it is before I went for it. They are very nice to have though!

 

i would not buy it if it has plastic tanks, cant fix cant modify.
