It was converted by Salem Kroger of Red Bluff, California. From what I can find they were in existence from about 1999 through 2011? Not sure if they started with a regular cab or club but I'd assume regular. The door sills looked pretty seemless as does the roof, from the provided pics anyway.

Regardless, a bunch of red flags / used car salesman talk. And why even sneak politics into the photos???

My guess they used a '85 or earlier crew cab, cab for the build, regardless of the 100% original, holy grail truck, BS in the add. Then they added a '91.0 powertrain, wiring and dash.

My other guess, the frame has been cut and welded to make it longer, once again a 100% factory original option. Or they swapped a 2wd crew cab long bed frame to 4x4 like BHD just did on his crew cab build.
The original brake lines as described in the add where likely replaced when the frame was stretched., Which would mean they where replaced, one can only assume with the factory original longer brake lies...I mean lines.

Ha ha!

That wad of dangling, spliced, wiring/rat nest looked factory original and owner loved too...

I noticed the wad of butt connectors and the SAME color wires under the frame. My guess is that was done to extent the rear tail light harness when the frame was stretched.
Nothing like using the same color wire for 10 different wires, to make things fun for the next guy.

The floor sure is nice and clean. I think the frame has been altered, because I (think I can) see rivets in the engine crossmember. And the rear cab mounts are bolted to the frame.

The engine wiring looks suspicious and does the rear harness, but that could be from some Harry Homeowner repair.

Look closely at the pic by the fuel tank. You can see a defined line of different levels of corrosion. Like the frame was cut and sectioned? Any ideas?

I see the difference in rust you mention there at the front of the fuel tank.

So, based on our forensics, it would appear the company wasn't necessarily a coach company but instead took a pre 1985 Crew Cab and set in on a stretched W350 CTD.

But hey, all the parts to finish this out to it's former beauty are in the bed!

The VIN decodes to: 1991 W350, CTD, cab and chassis

Makes sense.

I want to know more about this gauge!

I did the same thing! I still couldn't read the brand. It's a cool little combo but I've not seen one like it. I like my dual Westachs but this one is a different face design. Brand ends in an "X" is all I can decipher.

Looks like that 55 chevy of a Dodge is back on ebay. Now shows some pictures of when it was for sale in LA in 1995 for $20,500. It does have a near perfect grill.
