they are the same spring
some use the 366 number because its the last numbers in the part number
and some say 3200 spring because thats what it fuels too.

the sping is in the pump, pictures in the sticky

skip the 366 spring and go for the 374 spring. You may need stiffer valve springs running 4200rpms though. lol

Why anyone would ever want to spin that engine that high is beyond me. All it's doing is making alot of noise and heat past 3k rpms.

So you think the OP asking the difference between 366 and 3200 is running an aftermarket cam with a ported head, big sticks and twins?

Would you advise him to install a 4k GSK?

If its a street truck, work truck, or tow truck thats not looking to be a high HP or race toy then yes go with the 3200 spring. Just because you have the ability to rev over 4k doesnt mean you have to.

You can make plenty of power over 3k with the VE, just takes tuning, alot of timing, fuel, air, ect. For a truck like mine higher HP and higher reving will make a huge difference in how much I have to shift while racing, and what gear I pass through the traps in. Also on the street I can play with cars from 40mph to over 100mph while staying in 4th gear. Thats over 60mph of steady pulling away from who ever your playing with. Not much has that wide of a power band and can keep up.

Oh, I put a 374 spring in mine out of a volvo marine VE pump I had. The engine it came off of turned 4200rpms when we water tested it. That was WOT. Thats why I thought it was a 4200. What ever rating it is, it sure doesnt defuel. lol
