Talking 2nd gen head

Will a 12v head from a second gen ctd fit on the first gen motor? I am thinking of buying a used head off a second gen and wanted to do some porting to it and maybe o-rings. Anybody out there put a second gen head on a first gen motor? Also, I have an hx-35 with super 40 wheel and 14 cm w/g housing waiting to go on. How much fuel will this turbo support? Which injectors will match this turbo well? Looking at ddp 4's, but not sure. Thanks

Aaron

The head will work just fine, thats what all aftermarket heads are. People with the h1c stage 3 or 4 upgrade are running basically the same thing---60mm compressor wheel with a h1c or hx35 style center and exhaust housing. DDP3-4s or some moderate EDMs, even pods, would work with it. I run PODs on an hx35 no problems, and will be upping it to the hx35/40 hyrbid before long.

You'll be miles ahead and money ahead by just buying a new complete new style head from Alabama or TriState Cylinder Head. Just ask 'Begle' on the .org site, he bought a 2nd gen 12valve on ebay wanting to do the same thing you're wanting to do, turns out the head is trash, or might be.
