2 feet or one foot?
One foot only.
It's scary to watch some two footed auto people jump in a manual tranny vehicle and darn near pie **** somebody or something.
Like stated earlier; two feet=failure.
Unless your at the dragstrip.

I always use 2 feet standard or automatic. With an auto the second foot is like using a clutch when maneuvering and when driving in close proximity/heavy traffic by covering the brake with your left foot (not riding it) you have way quicker braking response especially with boots on. Put me down as a definite 2 footer
For racing applications I am not going to argue with you guys, fast reactions and all that are a must to win... I am also not going to argue with someone that has a legitimate reason (ie. a prosthetic limb)
but in the street, if you need two feet to react in time, BACK OFF! I don't mean to rile anyone up, I understand the situation can be brought to you, but it is not that hard to hang back a little, the extra 12 second it will take you to get home isn't worth all the hassle. On top of that, it's illegal, automatic failure on your driving test... there's a reason for that.

I had a 95 Avenger back a while ago for a good gas mileage car. And before that i had a 95 Nissan hard body which was a clutch. Second day i drove the avenger i was coming up to a stop sign quickly and went to push down the clutch but it was the brake i nailed on as it was an automatic! Needless to say that car was totaled from getting nailed from behind. (and i don't think the cops believed me as they were laughing..maybe they were just making fun of me)
I used to drive 2 footed all the time. Was a habit from racing go-carts. I enjoyed it then. Older now and 1 foot unless some competition comes along.

That is the first time I have heard something as idiotic as failing a test for using 2 feet during a drivers test. Use what makes you comfortable. I usually drive with one foot but in heavy traffic I usually use 2 feet, and as far as hanging back if you leave more than a car length between you and the car in front of you where I live someone is going to fill that hole quick. I have to hang back at least 4 car lengths with the diesel and I cuss people for filling that hole at 60 mph. Drive whichever way you feel safest.
i drive with one but only when i push one move, move fast, move faster skinny thing on the floor under the dash
i always yes TWO if that makes me a bad driver i guess i am i have driven millions of miles that way won't change
i started with two at age 4 on the go cart and when it came time to drive with one for thoes drivers ed yahoos i did
i have never heard that it's "against the law to use two" that would be STUPID
Think about it. If you have to panic stop and your right foot is still on the skinny pedal and left on the brake...the force of stopping is going to make you push the skinny pedal while your trying to stop. Not trying to **** any one off thats just how I see it.
1 foot always

the skinny pedal foot can resopnd just as fast as the left foot, unless of course you drive with the left foot hovering in mid air just waiting stomp the guts out of the brake pedal. i think that would make my leg tired holding it up all the time. so i just let my left foot take care of the clutch and the other takes care of the other two pedals remarkably well.
I guess I can top Suprdud, My favorite uncle has two prosthetic legs and he uses one foot for the brake and the accelerator. He can also drive a manual
Shift. He lost both legs in a farming accident at the age of fourteen and still going strong.

Tell him hi from me! When I drive a stick I make sure to leave extra distance in front for more safety. A good idea anytime.
There are many race drivers like Evan Evans that even drive full on race cars with only hand controls. I will make my track car with a hand throttle for the delicate touch the fake leg will never have. It sucks having your 2nd best body part cut off. (Throttle foot).
Met some amazing gimps in the last 10 years like one-armed golfers that outdrive most others.
ps: My best body part is the one between my ears.......

Get over it.
