1991 power steering pump blown, can it be driven?

I put a borgeson steering shaft on, I just couldn't help it. It eliminated the rag joint and that stupid little knuckle on the steering gear side. The reman NAPA box is a leaker, so I'll be replacing that which sucks, glad it has a lifetime warranty. It's leaking out the top gasket but it'll be a while before I can get my hands on it again, so he's keeping it topped off with oil.

It got a new pump, hoses, gear box, drag link and steering shaft so it drives like a million bucks.

He had to learn how to drive the truck all over again without all the slop.
