WMO (again)

Anyone have any experience with one of these setups?
http://www.myfastfuel.com/index.html
I'm not going to run out and buy one on a whim, but if what they claim is true, it could get tempting. I'm sure I can get WMO from a quickie-lube place down the street for free.

Any validity to their claims? Or is it just another hoax?

Thanks for the input.

You can make a superior setup yourself (I did) using compressed air,a frantz filter and a 5 psi popoff valve. Simply pressurize one drum at 5 psi, force the oil through the frantz, and into the truck or a storage drum.Best to let the drum sit for several days to let any water settle, and never pump or draw from the bottom of the drum. I did mine on the cheap, spending the money on a high quality pump for collection and bulk transfer.Don't use motor oil,use veggie oil. It's less harmful to you and the engine, and the exhaust is way cleaner. I have heard horror stories of wmo damaging pumps and injectors, seen one guy at the *********** with a fuel system totally fubared from wmo. Needless to say, they invalidated his warranty.

I am currently on my second tankful of 50% WMO 50% #2. Truck runs quieter, no difference in power or difficulty starting (although it only gets down to 60 degrees at night). I bought a few filters from Mcmaster-Carr. Start with a screen to catch any big junk, then 100, 25, 5, and finally 1 micron filters. I mix it with the #2 before filtering because it makes it flow much easier.

I would not do this with any oil supply you don't CONTROL. Picking up oil from anywhere but your own tank is a crap-shoot. You may wind up with brake fluid, water, coolant, etc. in the mix.
