Hi all, in the mornings my 47re will not shift, when in drive or shifting it manually. All the posts I have read say it is the speed sensor, but there is a catch, When my trans warms up to about 125*, on my gauge, then it starts to shift normal. I don’t know if the others drove theirs long enough for that to happen, takes about 10min. I can change the speed sensor but if you have any other ideas please let me know.

get under your tranny & check to see if the shift cable has free play-mine had trouble shifting, & I noticed there was gunk & stickiness in the TV cable. It didn't move very well so I PB blaster'ed it & moved i back & forth. Shifts fine now. See if that may help
