I need to run supply and return from engine to tank. Just wondering what size and thread pitch the hose barb fittings I’ll need. I can grab some while I’m in town.

I did search arch but the only thing mentioned was 3/8 and 5/16 for the hose. I haven’t seen anything mentioning the size fittings to use npt, jic....?

I guess i could pull it all apart apart but then I have to get back to town to buy the fittings. I’d kind of like to have it all in hand before I start.

Usually you don't need fittings, you just slip the hose over the hardline and fix it with clamps.

 

Ok. I just saw kits that had fittings in them so I thought they were necessary. Sounds good to me
