Hey guys,<br> I have an ATS Hybrid Turbo on my 24 valve and am going to another charger. My friend has a 94 12v and has begun to bomb and will use the hybrid (WH1C 14 cm w/58 mm compressor). My hybrid charger has an internal wastegate and the 94 12v has the wastegate orifice on the pump side of the engine. Can the wastegate on the truck be plugged and just use the internal wastegate on the turbocharger? What would you guys suggest?<br><br>Meacham Evins ??? ??? ??? ???

It would be best to move the boost elbow (orificed fitting) to the turbo, then a short line to the wastegate actuator (diaphragm). Then you will have a short line from the engine intake to the AFC housing. All it takes is a little plumbing.<br><br>In the alternative, you can plug the 1/8&quot; pipe connection on the turbo compressor housing, and use the line from the AFC to the wastegate actuator the way it is now.<br><br>Hope that helps.
