Awhile ago I put in an boost elbow. The boost would go to 32psi +-. Now, some time later I have no issue getting 50+psi and seems to slow the truck down. I'm pretty sure that much boost is bad on my stock turbo. What should I be looking for to fix the issue?

 

Check the boost el make sure it is not plugged

 

Or that the wastegate isn't damaged like a blown diaphragm or hose came off.

 

Thanks i'll have to check the wastegate. I know the elbow isn't clogged because I took it off and checked.

 

On a different note, How do you like driving with full cut delivery valves? I've heard that they can be quite tough to keep clean.

 

With those fullcut dv's the truck just about smokes nonstop. Not too bad when making boost under 1/2 throttle but any more than 1/2 throttle I can smoke out a town if wanted.
