i bought a reman unit from rockland standard gear and they sent me one for a standard, and the output shaft on the t case is about an inch longer would just swapping the input work or would the driveshaft hit the output shaft and break something?

 

no one evean has any thoughts on it

 

Other than the input gear, I don't think the t-case changes between auto and manual. But they should send u the right one so u don't have to swap in the 23 spline gear (it's not hard, but u shouldn't have to do that).

 

yea it was just the input and the new case sounds like the old one making noises
