Testing Lift Pump w/o Gauge?

You could use a manometer , but technically that is a gauge, you can check to see if it pumps at all without a gauge , but to actually test the pressure your going to need some sort of gauge.

Im just curious if this thing will make noise under a load but not at idle. Im getting some kind of tapping but only while driving. Cant really hear it with the windows down either. Last time my lift pump went out it was evident as the ticking was heard at all times, it just got faster with RPM.

Just put a gauge on it. IIRC you were talking about doing it anyways, right? Drill and tap the banjo and it is cake from there. Also, it is a really interesting gauge to watch.
