t-case ?
The front output yoke on my 241dld has a lot of slop. The t-case is presently out for a tranny replacement and, upon closer inspection, the output shaft itself has no slop, but rather the yoke has slop on the splines...but not in the direction of rotation, rather up and down, side to side slop. Could the yoke just be wore out? Also, there was only a retaining nut, no washer. Should there be a washer?
Thanks!

hi
if you tighten the nut and try the slop /play and you still have play look at the bore where the bearing is located to see if the bore is woren egg shaped .
there should be no slop where the bearing sits in the bore .
if you have slop try inserting some shim stock and replace the snap ring .
