sloppy steering

My 1994 has some real sloppy steering. I have a BD steering brace, a recent alignment, new steering shaft, pitman arm, and is all over the road. The truck/suspension has about 247,000 miles on it. I drive a lot for my job, and I need to have better control of the situation. Any ideas?

Have a friend turn the wheel back and forth while looking at ALL... the joints to see what has to much play . lots of things to look at.trac bar ball joints tie rods worn sector shaft etc. My 01 drives real nice after a moog trac bar and a DSS install.

I have a 93 1-ton 2wd and I had some sloppy steering. It eneded up being my steering column where it joins the steering box. If that's the case just get a strip of ribbon steel an weld the shaft to the coupler on the box but have someone turn the wheel while u look in the finderwell and see if that's the actual problem.

Hey will, I was driving Stefanees truck the other day and it was going all over the road. Took it to get the tires rotated and balanced and one if em was separating. It had a huge bump on the tread. Put a new tire on it and it handles great
