Should I get my valves checked?`
So I was reading up on some random stuff (engine specs, and other specs) on our trucks and it says to adjust valves every 24k miles. I bought my truck with 178k on it (currently 181k) and have zero idea if the PO ever did the valves. Ive dealt with many out of adjustment valves on dirtbikes but these are not the same animal. Im assuming theres a noticable difference when they valves arent adjusted right. My trucks seems to run fine, just a thought.
24K?

:hehe :
I might set them because it has over 100K and you don't know if they have ever been done.......................... But you can bet your tail they won't move much in the next 100K..........

If you don't know the history adjust them.
After that I don't know if it's even worth it to check them every 100k.
After the first two 24k adjustments on my trucks they have needed no further adjustment in over 300k.
I've gotten to the point where I only check one set and if it's good I call them all good.
