In an auto tranny, when should the truck shift after the washer or 3k spring kit is installed. If I manually shift it it stops pulling about 3200rpm, but if I let it shift itself, it shifts at about 2400 rpms. Is this right or should I tighten the springs a few clicks? This is in a stock tranny.

 

The governor springs won't change the shift points.

 

You gotta change out a spring in the valve body to make it shift later under hard throttle.
