is it safe to pull fuel plate

Is it safe to pull the fuel plate all the way out? If not what is a good fuel plate for a 97 215h

Yes you can remove it completely, but you're going to need a lot of turbo to keep it cool, and a lot of clutch to go with that.

Depends on how the AFC is setup, along with other mods. For an unmodded AFC, you still won't get full rack travel out of it.

All I have done is turn the star wheel 40 clicks twords the engin

I would start by bumping the stock plate forward first with the AFC. That at least keeps you in the safe area before you need a clutch, turbo etc. About an extra 100 ponies for that .

M6x1.00mm. Get socket head cap screws, makes everything easier in there.

I always replace all four bolts with allan heads.

I usually go perpendicular to the plate at the furthest point back of everything on it from the factory and give it a little ramp at the bottom for the last 3/8" with a small flat spot on the end of the ramp so its not a sharp edge at the very bottom. I think its called a 100 profile which is a combination of a 10 and a 0 plate, a 0 plate being straight down with no ramp.
