part numbers???
part numbers???
I am looking for a fuel heater ( in the pre filter ) and a water drain from the water seperator for a ' 95 12v auto 4x4. Does anyone know the part number for these, as well as the harness that plugs into it ? Fleetguard makes the heater, but apparently it is only available as a complete assembly with the pre filter housing ( at least thats what the partsman at the local truck shop says ), and I don't really want to layout $230.00 for one. I have read they are not a necessity but would like to replace it anyway, if available at a reasonable cost. Checked at NAPA for the water drain, with no luck. I haven't checked the *********** as they wanted over $200.00 for an intercooler boot. Thanks, Rick
On a '96 the drain is part of the WIF sensor, here you go:

At Cummins I found all the heater parts could be bought separate , but like anyplace , you may need to know more than the counter guy to get what you want .
I haven't used it , so I do not have a line , but go to the Cummins web site , you should be able to find .
I just remembered I had this .
