nv4500 input shaft

what will the 1 1/4" input shaft handle vs. the 1 3/8" input shaft (hp and torque).... because they make a shaft upgrade kit....would i then use the mu 13-1.375 con fe clutch with the new shaft and my nv4500? I was also wondering if they make an aftermarket 1 1/4" input shaft? The most horse i would ever dream to put to truck would be maybe 450 horse.......

I know a guy who twisted his 1 1/4" input shaft running 350hp/850lbft.-ish to the wheels just driving around and a few trips toting a gooseneck. And when I say twisted I mean TWISTED, it was only a very short matter of time until it would have snapped clean off. When he called SBC they told him the stock input shaft can only hold about 900lb.ft. depending on the clutch, his name is Ol_betsy98_12v on here. If it was me I would get the big shaft, I plan to myself here in a very short while

Do you know if they make a stronger 1 1/4" input shaft...because...just for the 1 3/8" input upgrade...its like 800 dollars....i dont have much money to spend.
