Ok this has been going on since I got the truck. But now it's getting worse. Most days when I first start the truck I can put it in drive and it goes rite to 3rd gear. But if cut it off and restart it then it shifts fine.
Also some times after setting for a few hours it wont want to shift out of 2nd gear usually I can let off for a few seconds and it will shift and then no more problems.

Has anyone else had this problem, dose anyone know what it is or how to fix it?

Yup I got the same problem and whish I had the answer. I think its the tps if not that then the speed sensor. Mine has been fine for a few days but I still need the fix. Do a search the tps can be cleaned and you can check it for voltage to make sure it needs replacing. LMK how it goes and ill do the same
