Need a little more power? Cheap!
I bought a stock 95 Ram 2500 12v with 142,000 miles last year and I love this truck. I changed the filter to an Accel blue and removed the silencer ring to let the turbo whine a little. I have read a few people turning up the star dial on the AFC. Is this something that can be done without adjusting timing. Maybe someone could suggest a few free things to improve power.
Take off the afc housing and slide the plate forward and move the star wheel forward a few clicks. It'll change your truck.
Here's some direction on how to access the plate http://www.tstproducts.com/INSRUCT98.pdf

Absolutely the pyro is a must, but rather than just sliding the plate forward, as long as you are in there take it out and machine it. just cut like a #100 plate and slide it forward, that would be the most gain for the time and no money except the pyro. i would say install the pyro at the same time you do the plate.
