Need help with OD indicator

Hey guys I'm stumped (more than normal )on this one and need some ideas.
I had a BD autoloc on my truck that I recently removed and since then the OD indicator in the dash doesn't light up? The button still controls the OD off/on as normal just when you turn it off the light on the dash no longer lights up. Are there little bulbs that are replaceable in the dash or is there a dedicated fuse for that circut ( I couldn't see one) Anyone have this happen or know where to look to fix this? I did a search and found issues with the switch but this is just the indicator light.

I'm pretty sure I've changed those bulbs in a cluster before. Probably a PC194 bulb that comes with its own built-in plastic socket. The way the circuit works is that the switch sends only a momentary pulse to the PCM, which then toggles off or on the O/D function. The PCM controls the indicator lamp too, not the switch.

So if the PCM controls them both it could it be a PCM problem also?
I will pull the dash apart next days off and look at the bulb.

The bulb is soldered in, there are two of them. The signal for OD on/off is a momentary negative contact that toggles the PCM back and forth. The lighting power is separate. If the switch lights up with the dash lights it's getting power.
Be careful taking the switch apart, springs will fly. I've only take two apart, they didn't work right afterwards.
Dealer wants about $30 for a new switch.

I think in 98 they went to an indicator lamp in the cluster that is separate from the switch.

It is possible that the PCM could be at fault, but I've never seen that circuit go bad. Hopefully it's just the bulb.
