My son has an odd truck: late 80's model F350 dump bed truck, with Allison bus transmission, and blown 12v cummins. Anyone know where to get a good (and cheap) 12valve engine in NW Ohio? Or what is a general cost of a rebuild?

Look at the classifieds here and on the TDR ( www.turbodieselregister.com ). Usually a few to choose from.

Don't know the cost of a rebuild. A lot cheaper, if you can do the work yourself.
