I need to check my line pressure for my tranny and i need to pick up a gage to test it but were can i get one in CA down near gilory if any local people and what one do i need to get (thread type and size?) Thanks any info would be great!

 

1/8"NPT is the thread size for the tranny ports.


12-14' of good hose
1 gauge (0-250 should do you for ALL tranny reading... maybe 200psi would cover it all)

 

I use a 200 psi gauge connected to an 18" grease gun hose, works great.
GG hoses are rated at over 1000 psi.

Another great idea, Bill. Is that hose long enough to get thru the transfer case shifter opening into the cab?
