Do a search for "fuelplate", thatīll be a help, or maybe not, if youīre having problems getting fuel now, asking for more wonīt help any.
Iīm with Gorms on the air in the fuel, and the prefilter was my best guess, but if you donīt have one that canīt be it.
Maybe itīs time for a new fuelhose, from the tank to the liftpump, then you know thatīs not bad.

Yes, you just push it forward, if it blacks out the mirror you went too far and should move it back some, or put a boost elbow on it to get more turbo pressure.
And so it begins ...
And get gauges, turbo pressure, fuel pressure and EGT, no need to mess it up just because you get "all funny" tweeking that pump LOL.
And be careful, I donīt know what transmission you got, but I know Iīll stay out of my pump untill I get mine fixed, Iīm pretty sure Iīll get all carried away once I dig in...and I donīt want it to blow up.
You might wanna do a search for "starwheel" as well.

Run a tank heavily laced with a good additive like Power Service, probably 3X the recommended strength. That will usually clean them up if it is just some filth.

The spec for your engine is printed on a plate that is attached to your engine.
More specifically, it's on the driver's side of the timing gear case/housing. Standing next to the driver's side fender with the hood up, look at the injection pump where it meets the gear case. There will be a data plate there with the correct specs.
