Installing Delivery valves...special tool?

Do I need a special tool to do dv's? It looks like I do but I am not sure. Anyone know where I could get some 181s?

Thanks

I do know you need the socket SP503, this is a snap on #, it is used to remove the DV. From there I'll have to leave it up to those who have done a few.

By the way, I'm sure snap on is not the only one who carries this socket.

Ya know, I wouldn't mind finding a set of 181's myself.

Miller tools also has the DV socket. If you are getting used DV's make sure you get new sealing washers or else you may end up with a little fuel seapage from some of the DV's. The 181's will probably work just as well as 191's on a 160hp pump because even 181's are a large jump in size over the tiny 130's that are in the 160 pump. If you can find used 181's cheap, I would go for it - they will support alot of hp.

I would avoid the 191's if you are towing they produce a lot of heat I tried them but they were way to hot so I traded them for 181's and they worked great.
