ignition switch pricing
My truck's ignition switch went out. I was though someone might know where I could get on at a good price. Call parts store but told me, that I have get it at Dodge. Dodge told me around 70 bucks.
Napa has them for $32 for '94 though '96
What's weird is the '97 up is over $100 and is exactly the same except for one little tab that holds the locking mechanism in.
If you don't have a repair manual suggest you get one. Although the switch is easy to replace there are a few tricks involved that you'll never figure out on your own and if not followed can result in trashing the the key lock.

Pick up an ignition switch at Napa today, ran me $37.5. Thanks for the help. Also my nieghbor pointed out that the contact to the switch on pins 4 and 5 are black. Think that they might not be any good causing the switch to burn up. I some has any thoughs on this or know were to get the connector for the switch without getting the hole cab wiring harness?
