Ignition Switch?
Last few weeks I've had to work the key back and forth a little to get the idiot lights to shut off and my gauges and blower motor to turn on.
Last night I started the truck and jiggled the key a little too much (it was the end of a 17 hour day) and shut the truck off. Tried to start it again and....nothing. Heard a soft click, but the lights didn't dim. No hard click like the solenoid kickin in. Disconnected the fuel shut off solenoid, no difference.
Keeps fryin' the 40amp ignition fuse under the hood. Lights, radio etc. still work.
Anyone wanna take a shot at it?

There's a TSB/recall on the ignition switches for your truck.
If you havent done the recall, now's the time to get the ignition switch replaced uner the recall.

Thanks Rich. I thought my build date was July 96, turns out it's Jan 96.
Unfortunately, I'm stranded 70 miles from home, and the NAPA store 2 miles away has a switch for ~$33.
I'll have to take it in when I get it back together and into town. Scares me to take it in though.....I know they'll screw up my wiring. Got gauges and valet switch tapped in down there, as well as transducer boxes for the sensors
