Ignition switch
Ignition switch
My truck has been sitting for a while and I have changed the battery and alternator a couple of months ago. I keep a trickle charger on it but it wouldn’t start when I attempted to start it today. I assume that there just isn’t enough juice in the battery to get it to start, but it didn’t even attempt to turn it over. The buzzer was working as well as the interior lights and gauges but no turn over. I also noticed the ignition switch has lost its “spring”. When you go to start it, there is usually a spring action to return the switch to the start position. How difficult is this to fix? And will I need to change out the ignition switch?
