Idle tick

I have nasty tick at idle. Searched here for a while and found 3 possibilities: lift pump, of valve, and maybe fuel ines getting air in them. I alreay have new rubber line to put in. Could that be the problem? It sorta sounds like a pulse back near the cab. I read in another thread about a return line tick. I can't tell of any performance loss, but it does crank a little longer when starting.

Yep, its the fuel lines. Replace those problem lines and the tick will be gone. Worked for me, I had the same problem. I could hear it real good standing on the drivers side of the cab near the door.
