IDLE Throttle Control
Re:IDLE Throttle Control
Well, Im not sure what your looking for...
I used a PVC pipe and modified one end to fit agains the pedal.
I wedge the other end against the drivers seat leg near the floor.
This puts the idle about 1100 - 1200 or so.
I also place the truck in "N" (auto tranny) to warm up the tranny fluid as well.

Also, if you search this site for "Fast Idle Stick" you find a previous thread with many ideas and much info.

Heres a pic of my fast-idle stick.

Rich

I mounted a solinoid to the gear case with a bracket and ran the wire to the fog light switch. To set it you have to throttle up with the foot pedal , then push your switch and it will hold. It works well; mine's set at 1250 rpm. Hope this helps.
Andy
