how much is too much?

how much is too much?

I was just wondering how much boost is will my stock head gasket hold?
I am running 32psi right now.

Depends on timing advance and how the truck is used.........cylinder pressure is what smokes head gaskets and while boost is an important factor it isn't the only factor.......anyway, 50-60 psi seems to be the range, although you would be considered very lucky around here if you kept a head gasket in at 60 psi - some guys are blowing them out at 50 psi!..........55 psi would probably be the reasonable limit but at that point you would have to run a large after market turbo to efficiently boost that high and a lot of extra fuel.
