Does the T case in a 95 4x4 hold? I was checking the fluids today , since i just bought the truck , and it took 2 qts to get it back up to the fill plug.

I couldn't find in the owners manual how much it actually held.

 

I dont have my truck (95 4x4 also) with me to look in the manual but 2 quarts is a lot. I wanna say it holds about 3.7??? Maybe time to do a flush and refill. Also you should check the trans fluid and see where its at. I seem to recall a bad seal between the two can cause fluid transfer.

 

Checked the tranny the other day , it too was a litte tiny itty bit low.

When i drained my fluids,

My t case used a little over 1.5 quarts, i didnt go too exact to be honest, i just stuck my thumb in till i could feel the fluid level a little below the full line....
