i have a 95 dodge cummins just put it on the dyno 400 hp and 1000 ft-lbs.
is my head gasket gone? when it idles it puffs tons of white smoke. Im losing coolant. I have grey swirls of water in my oil...I think its totally my head gasket...but before i ripp the head off i was wondering if anyone had any opinions to what else it could be. and any pointers on doin my head gasket..

 

What do you have done? How much boost and which turbo are you using. Also, are you spraying any nitrous of water meth? Don't worry me as my truck is at the same approx hp/tq and I didn't think I had anything to worry about just yet.

 

holset turbo, big injectors,striaight pipe 43 psi ...any ways i dont think the heads a big job..im gona throw a new gasket in on monday...ill let everyone know how biga job it is

yeah that is a good deal. Heck, I might even do that and have it o-ringed and whatnot and do the swap and take out a bunch of problems all at once.
