GSK needed or auto trans shifting to late?

Ran the 12v hard today after some pin heads stole $1,300 worth of products from my work. Ran after em and jumped in the Dodge to get there plate numbers. Found out that 4wd was required to keep up on the wet streets due to my open diff. The only issues I had with the truck is that it was shifting at about 2,800RPM when under full throttle.... and I swear the P pump was de-fueling and throwing me forward just before every shift, then when it did upshift i would gain speed like crazy until it reached the same high RPM then back off. IS my truck shifting normal, or is it common for the pump to defuel before it grabs the next gear? Lower stall converter? GSK? TPS sensor? All the above?
Needless to day I couldnt even come close to them on the freeway

You need the gov. spring kit.
It will make a difference in performance that you will like.

It's the TPS kicking you out of OD as it was intended to do at high throttle.
Sort of like way most autos downshift when you punch it for passing.
Way to fix it is with one of these> http://www.tstproducts.com/Torque%20...p%20Switch.pdf

The lockup works well for the most part, its not as smart as my old durmax allisson but it works well and stays locked until totally floored. I think i will do 3,000 rpm spring kit and a new ats low 1600rpm stall converter?
