Considering how thick the fluid was that I drained from my front diff this afternoon I won't be surprised if I gain a mpg around town when the trucks running gear never has a chance to really warm up.
It was like glue almost.
I put in some synthetic and we will see what happens. (BTW, a pretty stout looking unit in there I thought)

I plan on drilling and tapping a drain plug into both diffs at some point so I won't have to pop the covers. Did that on my PSD and it made life easier. Put one of those powerful rare earth maginets in there on the backside of the plug and yer all set. Nothing will shake one of those mags off.
