Can I do studs with the engine still in the truck?
What's the best hg to use?
my other plans are an s300 or an hx52
And 042 dv's
Anything else you guys suggest? Probably gonna do a 4" turbo back also

Welcome and congrats! Sounds like that truck was abused a bit to blow the head gasket with just injectors.

I would check the head and cylinders closely when you get it apart before pouring money into studs and a fresh gasket.

With blown gasket with just those mods, I would inspect the pump for whats in there for plate and GSK as well as what it was set for timing.

The reading in the 12V forum as well as the performance forum should help out some of those other questions.

 

I'm already planning on a new head
It has definitely been abused it started out as an auto with 3.54s and is now 5spd with 4.10s
Pump was replaced last year and there is no plate and stock gsk

It has 37s on it and a revtek 6" lift too haha
