my 96 12 valve has a weird vibration at certian rpms (no tach).
i can feel the engine pulse in the gas pedal,its bad.
it does it at 58mph or so.
the engine has a 3000rpm GSK and the timing set to 16 degrees.
i have changed the timing back and forth,just to see if that was the cause.
i moved the plate,no change in the vibration.
it has power,runs ok,fuel milage sucks,around 10 towing a tag along car trailer.
any ideas?

See if all your motor mounts are ok.

 

x2 on the motor mounts... i had the same symptoms but without the crappy mileage..... it was the passenger side motor mount.... broke right in two

 

Somewhat common for the mounts to come loose.
