my egt guage is an iispro, it is a 2 wire thermal couple but the cable they sent wasnt long enough to get where it was goin so i spliced some wire in there. now that i think of it and know better that isnt right. i was wondering if you other guys had 3 or 4 wire thermal couples in yours and what brand they were. by the way 100 plate 300 injectors 4inch st pipe k&n intake, it will black the road out , 5spd fishtail on pavement in 3rd and can only hit 700f post turbo? doesnt seem right

 

I've spliced in 30 feet of extra wire for pusher motor homes with very little effect on the temp readings.
A high of 700 post turbo is about right, 900 would be pushing it
