Hey everyone
I decided to install my delivery valves this week end. I did them all 1 by 1 and took my time. I removed the #1 delivery valve and the spring was there but the little valve (set) that sits on top of the spring in the delivery valve holder was not there. I know the spring did not come out and i did not lose it. Only thing I can think of is that it was not in there. So I called the local pump shop and they are ordering me a new one. they asked if i needed a shim to? they say the shim goes on top of the little valve on top of the spring. To be honest I did not see a shim on any of the other ones when i pulled them out. But I was not looking for it. My question is I dont think this little seat was in there and I have been driving the truck around as it is my DD. Can anyone tell me if one i can run the truck with out the little seat? and could I have damaged the motor in any way running with out the seat before?
