hello everyone,i have a question for you rear end guys i bought a dana 80 and put it in my truck (long story) and it has an open carrier.. well i bought a limited slip carrier for it and i was wondering if the berings and races for a dana 70 carrier are the same as the 80s berings and races?.. so i can get the numbers off those berings instead of tearing back into my 80. THANKS!!

 

I would call any good driveline/ rear end shop and ask the same question. With their books and references, they should be able to help you. My guess.... they would interchange because I know the Dana 70HD carrier can replace the 80, it just needs some drilling.
